Unless you have been under a rock the last 10 years you probably have picked up a Riverfront Times. This local publication is a readers dream. They take polls on many different things and use the readers input for the “Best of….” rankings of local bands, businesses, and anything else you can think of. This year Mixed Martial Arts has hit main stage with the recent Strikeforce Event held in June. The Strikeforce Event was ranked, no surprise, as the Best MMA Event in St. Louis. Also the Best MMA Fighter was given to Jesse Finney. The great part about it wasn’t just the MMA fighting aspect of the ranking, but the fact that the new training facility and promoting MMA fights every 6 weeks.
